SPIDA® Software Unveils SPIDAmin One Touch Make Ready Workflows and Enhanced Security Features

With this release, SPIDA introduces One Touch Make Ready (OTMR) workflows and enhanced security features, staying ahead of industry trends.

Recently, the FCC approved OTMR for pole attachments, which will shorten the previous multi-step timeline for communication attachments. Historically, this previous process was prone to construction delays and additional costs for the broadband provider. The new OTMR process will expedite the expansion of broadband construction by streamlining and reducing delays and costs. The responsibility to perform certain aspects of make ready engineering has shifted to the new attacher. However, the timeline that pole owners are expected to review and approve the proposed attachments has been significantly condensed, placing additional strain on already limited pole owner resources.

SPIDAmin One Touch Make Ready workflows provide the necessary framework for successful implementation of the new guidelines. SPIDAmin removes the manual and tedious process of tracking critical timelines and automates communication between pole owner and pole attachers in real-time, reducing the possibility of errors and delays.
