Position Summary

The ideal candidate will collaborate with the Quality Assurance Team, Product Development, and Support Teams to ensure quality software delivery. The individual will be responsible for executing manual and automated test scripts to evaluate the quality and stability of products, as well as evaluating new software features to ensure they align with product specifications.

Job Essential Functions

The following are a list of responsibilities related to the Quality Assurance position. Those responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Write manual test scripts and software functionality documents
  • Execute of manual and automated test scripts
  • Investigate user-reported bugs to develop reproduction instructions
  • Collaborate with quality assurance, business, and development teams to ensure software quality

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organization skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn new technical and domain-specific skills quickly
  • Strong computer skills
  • Background or experience in utilities, software quality assurance and/or software development a plus
  • Experience in writing test automation or other software scripting a plus

Work Location

  • This position is located in Gahanna, OH.
    • SPIDA employees are working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic, but following the pandemic, this position will be on-site.
